Vacuum lines 850 1994 Turbo

Did my first oil change on my 854 Turbo this weekend. While the car was on the lift I noticed a few vacuum lines were missing. There is an exposed nipple on the bottom of the air tube connecting the air filter to the turbo. (nothing connected there), on the bottom of the car, towards the driver's side beneath the battery is a contraption of sorts. There is a nipple exposed which looks as if it would like to have a vacuum line as well. (This little black canister with, as I recall, other vacuum lines attached is for what purpose I have no idea.) On the top of the engine there is a decent sized metal nipple, right by the fuel rail to the right of, maybe the inlet? This guy is exposed too. The car has been like this since I bought it a month ago. I have a check engine light on with the codes 535 and 413. They are for the turbo signal sensor, and EGR temperature sensor signal. I am assuming that the missing vacuum lines are the cause for some of these errors. In addition, my brakes do feel a bit strange. If I pump them 2-3 times quickly the pedal stays right at the top of its range and feels great. If I drive for a while, the pedal will go down a bit further then it would if I had pumped. The brake feel is fine regardless of pedal location, but I am associating a possible lack of vacuum to be the culprit. Anybody with suggestions? Please help, I have no manual to re-trace these missing vacuum lines.

Thanks

Prospero
