The front passenger side mud flap has become partially separated due to some popped rivets. Does anybody think it would be a bad idea just to take the mud flap off and leave it off? The design is a poor one anyway on a vehicle with such low clearance. I've had lots of trouble with scrapping the flaps while driving and, for some reason, the worst stress seems to occur when the vehicle is put on a lift for servicing. On the other hand, maybe the integrity of the whole quarterpanel is compromised by taking the thing off. I will appreciate your comments. Thank you.
