Engine replacement on my S70 S70 1998

I don't know what the second digit at the end of the engine code. The HPT for the 850 is B5234T5 and you're is B5234T3. I'd have to assume they both fit but I'm not 100% sure. I have been unable to get an explanation for that last digit, though I guess it has something to do with the ECM..
