Klaus I was not aware that the 850 locks were all metal. I take it this includes the dreaded REPL as described on Bay13?
Does anyone know if the 850 door locks fit on the 1998-2000 S/V cars? I have a malfunctioning door lock right now and it might be a smart (cheap) upgrade to go for a picknpull 850 metal lock rather than shell out for a new S/V70 lock with the plastic tabs.... any ideas?

FWIW I'm pretty sure I've read that the tailgates are identical, which I always assumed included the lock hardware... maybe the door lock hardware is the same too? I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience with this.
