what's that round gadget behind the engine? 850 1997

There's a round thing behind the engine, mounted on the firewall, up near the hood or rubber gasket/seal. It looks a bit like an old horn. It has a small bolt in the center. I think part of mine fell off, but I don't know what the thing is called to look it up and compare or replace it.
