spark plug replacement V70-XC70 98

I drive american sedans for business averaging 50,000 miles per year, and can't remember needing to replace a sparkplug.

The dealer is recommending plugs be replaced at 30k miles on my wifes XC

( low pressure Turbo, 5cyl ).

Is Volvo engine technology not caught up to the 100k tune up interval or is this another profit builder at the dealership.?

By the way, we love the car despite the bugs common to this modle/yr.

Any recommendations/comments on the plugs?
