I had exactly the same problem. I spent hours trying to carefully remove that one bolt by tapping the E5 torx socket on the rounded bolt head in order to shape the head. It didn't work. I replaced all the bolts and brought it to my Volvo indy shop (I didn't mention the rusted bolt).

They couldn't get the bolt out, too. So, what they did was saw off the bolt by carefully cutting through the corner/side of the case. See photo below:
