OK Guys, I have been putting this repair off for awhile as I get more comfortable doing my on repairs. Safety is always first for me. I have the money to pay someone but there is no fun in that.
Fuel filter change. I have read several different instructions but this is what I am going to do.
I will jack car up or put on ramps. I believe the fuel filter will be on the right side of the car near the rear door. I will Let the car set for 1 hr. Start car and then pull the fuel pump Fuse! once car is starved of fuel I will turn off and disconnect the negative battery cable. I will then use safety goggles a bucket and several towels to clean any fuel that may spill.
I will dismount the fuel filter not sure what bolt but I will know by Sunday. Disconnect the lines and then insert the new filter making sure it is mounted correctly. I will tighten and then replace the fuse and connect the battery. I will look for leaks and then start the car.
I will be using a Volvo filter.
Is this correct did I leave anything out. Please any info will be greatly appreciated. Are there any good Write ups for my model.
This is for my 2002 Volvo S60 110k
