Tested, more info - still no function S70 1998

Thanks for the info. I watched that video once before, but it did not mean a whole lot until I tried to dig around in my dash for a while. I think I know just what to do now.

I was planning to pull and check the blower this evening, but I found three boxes of volvo goodies on my front porch after work which side-tracked me for the day.

I replaced the master switch with one from an s70 (after switching caps), and replaced the five plain 850 lugs on my rear wheel with five nice and shiny chrome lugs.

I replaced the passenger side strut mount, spring cap, bellows, bumpstop, cross nut and strut cap on the passenger side. I would have done the same for the driver's side but I ran out of light and warmth outside.

I cannot believe how much easier and quicker the struts are on the FWD 70-series! It took me a whole day to do the struts on my old 240. I had one side done in under a couple hours without ever working on a FWD volvo before.

Time depending, I'll do the blower or my driver's side strut mounts tomorrow. I'll report back either way.
