That is not our experiance with switching to Mobil 1 ATF, just smoother shifts.

"S" is supposed to hold your shift until about 5K, unless you let off the gas pedal. Try driving it again, but let the tranny warm up for a mile or two first.

When the fluid is hot, it should be just a little above the mark.
