for example, wbile testing compression on cylinder 1, I was asking if plugs 2-5 should already be removed.
Upon further reading, it seems the answer is yes, remove all 5 plugs and test compression in each cylinder w/ other 4 plug openings empty.
The compression gauge I borrowed from Autozone, however, isn't "holding"
the high readings so I'll have to post results tomorrow after getting different gauge.
