Some require replacing the entire stabilizer (which is a much easier replacement, but slightly more expensive). I think those started at 1999 though. But better double check.
I've heard of two ways of removing the old one. One involves cutting it off with a hack saw, the other suggests using a chisel and hammer to punch it out.
Install of oe basically has only one way to install it. Press it in either using a press or vice, with the proper fittings, or atleast some pieces of metal or wood to spread the load acoordingly.
