I'm not too sure it wouldn't. As I understood it when VCNA decided to import the SVC70T5m (for those of us on and over the edge) they didn't expect to sell very many; I think the VCNA quote was "one or two per dealer per year".
I suspect it was a marketing decision not to certify the AWD with manual.
Considering all the trouble people have had with bevel gears, we may be lucky. If I really wanted AWD with a manual (with two of everything to break) I'd buy an Audi or BMW. Or a Porsche Carrera 4 (really MY favorite SUV!)
