Engine System Service Required Code 44 S80

Several times over two months i got an "Engine System Service Required" message, when i clear the message, a "44" is now displayed..The message went away..the last time the message came up, car is running great, when i restarted the car , the message was gone without a service reset..mmmmmmmm...i had did a spark plug and air filter change, 35k was on the parts,,,just the day before this last message was posted and reset on its own...mmmmmmmmm.!
