91/940 Turbo NSS replacement

I have posted this issue before and did not get an answer so I ended up hot wiring the NSS so I could shift but lost my reverse lights. Though I would try again and see if anyone has run across this since.

I need to replace the Nuetral Safety Switch, which is just to the left of the shifter column and is fastened no 2 pins. The problem is getting the NSS all the off those pins before it hits the side of the shifter casing.

Anyone have experiencing with replacing the NSS with the same configuration?
