I don't know how severe your skip is but I had a similar problem on a 99 S70 a couple of years ago and the #5 piston had actually developed a crack in it. My skip was a really bad one. Felt like the engine was actually jumping around. My shop found it by running a compression test.

Hopefully your problem is a lot less severe but I wanted to let you know.
