Take it to an autoparts store and get your codes checked and cleared. If the CEL didn't come on, make sure the light is not burned out by turning the key to pos II.
You could have a dirty throttle body and/or a dirty idle control valve. Cleaning both is a very good thing to do anyway. One of the Brickboarders did the throttle body this way: He had a helper turn the key to pos II, which opens the throttle butterfly. Then he sprayed in TB cleaner for a second or 2 before it closed again. Helper continued to turn the key off and on until the TB was clean.
