If it's not too cold try hosing out the radiator. The cooling fins may be plugged although that's usually not a problem this time of year if you're in a cold climate. Is your radiator fan turning on? Check the tranny fluid to see if it's burned. If you haven't changed it in the past 20K miles try that.
