It is time to clean the engine/tranny and find out where the oil is coming from. I hate to say this, but get a compresion test done. It sounds like you may have something bad going on.
Cleaning/replacing the oil breather system hoses and separator box should have cured the crankcase ventilation. But if the damage was already done, you may also have a leaky rear main seal and cam seals.

Please answer, we need to know if the advice is good or bad. The 164 has a new home, all I am left with are 2 turbos :)
