S60R Rear Noise S60

Had noticed a constant rear noise at highway speed. Dealer diagnosed as rear hub bearings. Both sides were replaced under warranty at 41,000 mile. This seems very early to have such a problem. Any known issue with hub bearings rear or front with the R? Should the front be looked at too?
