Hi All.

I have a 97 V70 2.5T with 217000 on the clock, here is my problem...The car is fine in the mornings when you start it but when you leave it for half an hour or so then restart her,there is a little smoke from the exhaust which usually lasts for around 5 seconds....it is white smoke !
Im going to take the intercooler pipes off tomorrow and check for oil.
Im thinking of a few options ,getting the turbo rebuilt and high flowed or
can I find a turbo from a T5? is the stud pattern ,oil and water pipes the same ? what is the difference between the low pressure turbo and High pressure turbo?
Also im going to attempt to take the turbo out myself...and take it down to my local Garrett specialist.It looks pretty straight forward,i also own a mazda RX-7 twin turbo and ive had the turbos off that before!
It looks like I may need to take the brake booster off to get the turbo out through the top?
If there is any body else out there with a 2.5T or a T5, could you please tell me what boost pressure your car runs?
