Dave -
You're right. Victor Rocha is every bit as good as you say. If fact he upgraded my original abs control unit and sent me a replacement, when the upgraded original one caused the same dashboard lights/error. Problem is the replacement shows the same symptoms. Both the volvo dealership and my mechanic have tested the wheel sensors and have not found a problem. The dealership wants to put a brand new abs control unit in the car to see if if fixes the problem. I suspect that something else is causing the dashboard to light up - probably a much simpler problem - and I am about to get hosed by the dealership. I'm trying to find out if anyone else has experienced a similar problem and what the ultimate solution was. Then maybe I can avoid the dealership altogether.
Victor has gone above and beyond as far as I am concerned. He continues to offer suggestions and help and I would recommend him to any volvo owner experiencing abs problems. Trouble is, he is on the west coast and I am on the east, so I can't drive down the block to his establishment to get an honest assessment of my abs trouble.
