I replaced the windshield wiper lever (right side) a few years ago. I assume it is similar to the left side lever (removal and installation process).
I used a torx 10? long shafted screwdriver which is inserted under the steering column shell cover to loosen and remove it. Once the shell was removed I had to disconnect two phone jack like wire connecters and remove two screws to remove the lever. Installation is the reverse of removal.
I had two functions with two wire connectors to unplug and re-plug. Since you have several functions on the left side lever, I suspect your will have more connectors. The more simple (right side) lever cost me $100 several years ago. I suspect the price will be considerably more due to your more complex part and inflation. Nevertheless, if you are minimally handy you can save the $100 an hour a dealer would charge you to do this.
