Broken turn signal/cruise control shaft..Help! 850

I'm heading up a long, dark driveway in my '94 850 using the brights to guide me. I get to the garage and flip the lever to turn off the brights and...the lever snaps. So now I have no turn signals, no brights and a lever that dangles from the steering column by the wires. Anyone had this happen and can offer suggestions for a fix? There doesn't appear to be a post to Volvospeed on this. Thanks in advance.
