code p0302 S70

A "misfire" is not a valve problem. You could get a compression test to verify any valve problems.
I suspect that the #2 wire is grounding itself against the side of the engine block or being pulled from the distributer when the plug is in the engine. This is a 1998 S70, right? No coils over the plugs. If it is a coil over engine, then it could be an individual coil problem. That can be verified by moving the coil to a different cylinder.
