I agree with two items in this thread. Upper transmission hose is easier and power steering return line needs one too. Three tips: Be careful of flow direction. Also I've added hose to avoid kinks. Use 3/8 inch size filter. Tranny cooler hose is readily available and it can be spliced on using brass barb fitting and hose clamps. I've opened old filters (30k-50k mi) and am amazed at the of the amount of metal powder on the magnet which would otherwise be in circulation in the tranny or power steering pump and rack.
