Once you get the gear repaired, you'll find that you can turn it and increase the miles on the odometer. If you have a ton of miles to go, I've heard of people useing a drill and running it to the gear to run the miles up. Check out the unit's physical design and decide if this is even possible. I know there's got to be a creative way to do this, but would you want to do it?
