True, they do last longer. I took a front 02 sensor into my indy for him to change it out. My car now has 122K miles on it. He told me that he checked the voltage resistance and that my 02 sensor was acting as if it were brand new and there was no reason to change it...that he would change it once I got a code for it. He also told me that the one in there looked brand new. I bought this car a bit over 30K miles ago...don't know if the previous owner changed it out or not. Anyway, my 2cents is to change it if it's needed and not before.
