Could be the ignition switch as Jot has indicated...I've read posts of this being an issue recently for our cars on other forums too. However, whenever I've had similar problems as you are now having, it's almost always been the battery or the battery cable. See if there is corrosion on one of the cables that may be causing you to loose electricity throughout your car from time to time.
