The car has 67k miles--has been maintained maticulously--recent tune up-7 k miles ago, syn oil changes every 5k miles. I read an article about an immoblizer in the cars ignition where if it doesnt recognize the key--it will crank-but-not fire. Read that when this occurs-to remove key and try again--or try another key. Since posting my orig message concerning this problem--it hasnt acted up--so maybe it was the key/immobilizer. Thanks for your reply and I will post any changes as they occur so that someone else may benefit from my experience with this
