After disconnecting the battery, wait at least 15 minutes. This is very important. If you don't wait, the system can still be tripped as something in the system stores a charge for a few minutes even if the battery is not giving it any...guess this is a safety feature to deploy the airbag in case of a front-ender that takes the battery out a split second before it is suppose to go. Good luck and let us know how those seats fit!
