ATF flush and change - now I have problem V50 1995

Too bad we can't all get together and make Volvo change the location and accessibility to the tranny fill pipe. What a pain.

Have you rechecked the fluid level after driving a while? Sounds like the lockup for the torque converter is not releasing.

I have a problem with your description of what you did. You first drained the tranny sump (cleaned the pan), added 4/5 quarts of ATF, then started the car and checked the level? Then you did this 2 or 3 more times? Why not follow the guidelines used on this board and volvospeed to unhook the hose from the radiator to change the fluid?

If air was in your tranny when the motor was running, your tranny is toast.
