ABS/Tracs on 855 (1996)

Hello,

I'm having a problem with my '96 855 T-5, 82,000 miles. My alternator died and I had my indy mechanic replace it. The car was at the shop for a week and a half before they go to it. The battery was all the way down for most of that time (they may have jumped it to move it). I picked up the car this morning and the ABS and Tracs Off lights are now on. They were not on before I took the car in.

I've read a bit on this BB about the ABS/Tracs issues with the 850s but I am no mechanic. So, a few questions: any chance the lights will clear themselves? Do I need to have the dealer re-set them? Or do I have a genuine problem -- and if so, which one (the module, the ignition switch, etc.) Last, is there any way that the process of installing the new alternator could have fried some part of the module? I like this shop a lot but they don't see a large number of Volvos so I am, sadly, a little suspicious.

Thanks for help and advice.
