Rattling Glovebox Door V70-XC70

In short, yes. One owner of the origional issue V70 used a piece of weatherstripping to quell the chatter. Recently he installed a new latch, but I'm not sure why. My 01 has the same problem. The dealer wrapped the bale of the latch with black tape, then packed the thing with grease. The grease ate the stickum, so the tape fell off, then my wife wiped the grease off with her clothes. We are back where we started. When it really bothers me, I'll try something else.
