Suspension On My 1998 Volvo S 70 SE S70

Alf,

Like everyone stated, SE doesn't stand for " Sport Edition "; instead it stands for " Special Edition ".

As for the ride, anytime you got rims on a car, it will ride different. I
am assuming that when you talked about " base " model, it means the one w/
the 15" wheel cover, right ? ... if so, it will ride different as I used
back the 15" wheel cover on 195/60R15 tires for winter, and was using 17"
"R" rim on 205/45R17 tires for summer ( well ! .. at least until my young
sister destroyed two of the rims a weeks ago when she borrowed my S70 ).
Anyways, I did find the ride totally different when I was riding on those
nice 17" rims ( Boy ! ... I miss them ! )

Hope that helps,

Kenny
