Daughters going to grad school in Richmond, VA and Chapel Hill, NC: Any good Volvo shops nearby? 850 1996

Hello All,

Two of my daughters are going to graduate school out of state, taking with them ancient Volvos at the end of this month. Both are 850 wagons. One daughter will be based in Richmond, VA and the other will be Chapel Hill, NC. Instead of picking a name out of the phone book (Yes, I am dating myself, no one uses phone books anymore) I would appreciate if any members of this Volvo community could recommend independent repair shops that know how to service Volvos in the respective areas.

I would like to identify a garage in advance of the need. Thanks to all who respond

Hugh

P.S. You too may have this experience someday.
