Reasonable Shop S40-V40

Hello all once again. I was wondering if anyone knows of a reasonable shop for general repair of my 2003 S40, or in the near term a free-lance mechanic looking for a side job. I have had sparse work in the last 2-3 years and the quote I got from my erstwhile shop for a job consisting of replacing the steering rack is too high.

I have been told new racks are gone but remanufactured ones are no problem. I need someone who can determine which other related parts are needed and carry out the repair and restoration. I would buy the parts and pay them a flat fee for the job.

Know of anyone? It ain't me, first I don't have the location and I doubt I have the skill. A one-day job for a real mechanic would probably take me a week!
