The LPT revisited C70 2000

At first I hated my new C-70's LPT engine, having just come out of a 94 850 Turbo. It seemed to run out of breath, well it still kinda does even now that the transmission knows it's me and not the Grandma who owned it before. But, I have to say it does have better low end torque and no turbo lag for getting across the intersections. The 850 was a little scary thru those intersections until the turbo spooled and rocketed me away.

Hopefully I can still upgrade the engine with IPD's motronic and maybe it'll be better than the stock HPT because of good low end grunt. Does anyone have experience with upgrading the LPT? Is the 2.4 litres an issue with engine damage if I hop up the turbo? And finally, are the turbos the same on both versions just underboosted?

Thanks
