What's that sound ? - 2000 V70 V70-XC70 2000

Cat converters don't make sounds, if they do, they are dead.

I would check the engine mount under the crank gear - better known as the forward engine mount. When it separates, the crank can touch the subframe and make strange sounds.

Other alternative is the exhaust is loose and vibrating against something.
