Cabin climate control question V70-XC70 1998

Try cleaning out the temperature sensor. It is behind the grill to the left of the ACC unit and beside the sunroof control switch. Mine was full of lint. Carefully clean it out taking care not to break the fine wires inside. Q-tips work OK. There is a small fan back there to pull air in for the temperature measurement.
