850 oil change 850

Hi guys,
I'm a new poster to the 850 blogs, I own 240's and a 940 and have for years-do all my own work on them and find them great to work on. Just wondering about the 97 850 model- I know it takes the same oil filter as my other b230 engines but how about the acessability of the filter- easy to reach? How about the drain plug? Also, this is a friend that's buying this 850-it's got 117,000 on it. Any outstanding issues that he should know about that might be in the future? I know almost nothing about this engine and would appreciate any info. ya'll could give.
