How many miles does your car have? I have a 96 850GLT with 136,000 miles that started the same thing early this year. I was going through a quart of oil every 500 miles or so. Had a compression test done and found that there was build up in the engine causing low compression (120-160 psi)and oil burn. The catalytic converter was removing the smoke so no real sign of smoke from the exhaust. After a cylinder flush with some type of cleaning agent by the shop compression in all five cylinders is now in the 170-180 psi range. I can feel the difference too.

Some one on this board told me about www.auto-rx.com the other day and I am now giving it a try. Worst thing that can happen is if it has no effect. The results from some of the post online though show some pretty amazing results.

If you are sure you don't have any leaks, then have a compression test and start from there.
