Programming of S60 remote S60 2001

In the RWD forum I saw some info on reprogramming remotes for the 960s.

I bought another remote for my S60 on ebay for a dollar plus shipping.
Can I reprogram it myself for my car like they do the ones for the 960?
Do I have to reprogram both of them?
