850 Compression 850 1993

My 850 has been running like a champ. 500 mile trip on Thursday through Saturday.

Go out this evening to start the car. Cranks, almost starts and then the cranking is faster than normal. Timing belt still OK, compression is garbage, 50-75 lbs in each cylinder. After poking around I am thinking the crank gear retaining pin sheared off as the camp gears are bolted in place.

Anyone experienced something like this.

Thanks, Tim
