o2 sensor, clock/trip computer backlight 850

Got some great advise on what to do about my battery, thanks to all that responded. took it to O'riley and they juiced it for me free of charge! New concerns; Check engine light came on, fellow at shop said it was my O2 sensor and spark plugs but not to worry about the O2 sensor. Will this effect performance or longevity? How do I change the plugs? checked my trusty manual but no luck and I dont trust this yahoo mechanic (closest dealership:60+miles)

Also cannot see my trip computer when driving at night. is that a light or fuse?
guess not such a big deal but love being able to see exctly what sort of gas mileage i am getting.

then after I got the O2 sensor news, hopped in only to find out that my seat belt was stuck, and hanging on for dear life. I was yanking this thing and it would not budge. Im thinking this cant be safe volvos are FOR LIFE! my car wants me dead after Ive nursed 'er through to her 130th birthday. All these problems have just sort of popped up and I would love any input so i can get back to enjoying my baby.
