wastegate adjustment S70

i just adjusted the wastegate on the turbo of my 99 t5,i tightened it three full turns. will this hurt the engine/turbo in any way. there is a noticible change in the driving. if i tightened it any more, would i notice a significant change? does it risk more harm?>??
