hello,

I installed a boost gauge last night in my 1997 854 GLT Turbo and i hooked it up to a vacant line on the vacume tree next to the throttle body.

I get a good reading of both vacume and boost but I wonder if i would get a more accurate "Boost only reading" if i hook it up to the wastgate actuater hose with a "T" fitting?

I am getting about 6psi of boost under WOT and if the wheels spin i get a spike to 8psi when i hit second gear last night on a test run (worn tires smooth road) i can get a real good second gear scratch and a spike to almost 9 psi.

Am i now reading Total Engine Pressure?

I am going to insatall my G-Valve tonight and want to be sure that i am getting a accurate boost reading first so i do not over boost the car.
