Access to fuel door solenoid? C70 2007

The solenoid or motor that releases the fuel door may have fallen or needs adjustment. Pressing the release button I can hear it work but the door stays locked. Pulling on the manual release in the trunk is how we gas up the car.

What's involved in gaining access to the mechanism? Pull out the passenger-side trunk lining?
