My 98 V-70 AWD with 163,000 miles has had a dull vibration for 40,000+ miles. It feels like a bad U-joint in a rear wheel drive car. I have run three different sets of tires but always the same vibration at 32mph and 62-66mph. All equipment is original - shocks, struts, springs, rotors except that I replaced the drive shaft with a used one since the center bearing was worn and I thought that might be the problem. Problem is more pronounced when steady on the gas and reduces a lot when coasting. I am also getting a little whine at low speed from transmission with corresponding noise from trans when standing still.
