Engine missing V70-XC70 2001

My 2001 T5 seems to have a slight engine miss. It is very faint but you can sense it, particularly at higher speeds. Idles and starts great. Lots of power so far. Almost like a stutter but faint. Does not seem to change the tach or speedo. Could this be the start of the dreaded ECU problem. Plugs have never ben changed with 90K on the car. Thanks for any help....nearest dealer is 300 km away.

Throttle Body unit replaced at dealers and problem fixed. Tried to have replaced with the module off a newer vehicle as I understood that they would work but the dealer would not do this and supply any sort of warranty.

Thanks for the help but I replaced the plugs and the problem still exists.
Vehicle seems to sort of stutter(you can feel it in the wheel and seat) at certain speeds, ie. 90 km. and is intermittent. Almost like someone was quickly and lightly tapping the breaks and similar to what I would describe as an engine miss. I have ordered a new fuel filter and will try it but I am not optimistic a fuel filter could cause this problem since the vehicle works fine otherwise.

A high pressure turbo that gets used a lot, and 90K on the plugs? Bet the electrodes no longer exist! Get new plugs. And it probably is about time for a real tune up.

Hate to say it but it sounds like the Throttle body. Mine did the same thing.
I had the dealer replace it, $1000. This part is defective and is going on many
      cars prematuraly. Good luck.

At 90K, I'd suggest changing those plugs. Could be as simple as that.
